There’s something missing from the EFF document dump: Sheldon Whitehouse’s efforts to get language from four different OLC opinions authorizing Bush’s surveillance program declassified. Not only should some of those efforts be included in the document dump–but they provide keys for understanding the communications within the document dump.

Is the OPR report on torture being held up because of Yoo and/or Bradbury? Or because of John Rizzo?

One of the key documents showing the appropriation of DOD’s SERE techniques at CIA appears to have gone missing.

Daniel Levin, when he testified before HJC last year, said he did not speak with David Addington–or anyone else at OVP–during the drafting of his 2004 torture memo. He seems to have been the only torture memo author who did not communicate directly with Addington during the drafting of the memo.

The CIA is lying, once again, about what transpired in briefings with Congress.
