Former Bush Special Counsel Scott Bloch’s attempt to get out of his guilty plea has been denied and he will be sentenced to prison today.

Judge Deborah Robinson of the District of Columbia District Court has denied the collusive attempt by Scott Bloch and the DOJ to withdraw the plea agreement that would give him jail time for contempt of Congress.

The Obama Administration and Holder Justice Department were not willing to make misrepresentations and disingenuous arguments to cravenly insure that Executive Branch officials, including Scott Bloch, lying to Congress do not serve so much as a day in jail.

The results are in from the Nora Dannehy DOJ investigation into the US Attorney firings by the Bush/Cheney Administration. And, shockingly, the Obama/Holder Department of Justice just cannot find any conduct, not one single instance, worthy of criminal prosecution.

After reading the longer document on OSC’s investigations, it appears there is SOME logic to Scott Bloch’s investigations. But that doesn’t mean he’s a good manager.
