Thanks to POGO’s FOIA release here, we now know that not only was the persecution of Tom Drake by the DOJ completely bogus and vindictive, Tom Drake was bloody well right about TRAILBLAZER versus THIN THREAD to start with. Who couldda predicted?

Add Gitmo files to the long list of scandals that the Bush Administration kept no meaningful records of.

This filing I stumbled across in Prettyman courthouse suggests there were big contradictions between Eric Edelman (then Libby’s deputy, and currently the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy)’s testimony, and that of other witnesses in the case. If Edelman is lying, it might corroborate my theory that Dick learned of Plame’s identity from having been shown–via an illicity channel–the emails Valerie wrote relating to Joe’s trip.

This is the post I promised, in which I’ll analyze what the timeline of the missing dates shows. My conclusion? That almost all of the days for which OVP and WH have no emails happened during periods in which they were responding to significant Plame subpoenas.

Jeff kicked my arse on a timing related issue yesterday, so I thought I better lay out the disappearing White House email timing all nice and neat like. I’ll move this over into a permanent timeline after you guys tell me what I’m missing (Jeff, I’m looking at you).
