Given the difference in the sizes of national contingents, I hope it’s registering somewhere (I’d prefer Ottawa as the first place) that Canada is taking disproportionate losses, the highest of all, I believe. </p> <p>But that’s not even really the point. The point is that we all need smart diplomacy on Afghanistan/Pakistan yesterday, and we are just not getting it. And we all know why that has been true so far.
