Possibly, but it was the way he suddenly went wide and stopped/slowed that looked unnatural, even for the circumstances, to me. David Hobbs went nuts at the time it happened saying “He stopped, Glock just stopped” or something to that effect. I dunno, I need to see replays, and I didn’t TIVO it. I understand the wet situation and relative tire compounds; still looked goofy to me. I am totally in the bag for Ferrari though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I think that you are dead wrong, bmaz (and I, too, wanted Massa to win the title). The only reason that Glock was ahead of Hamilton was that he stayed on dries when pretty much everyone else changed to intermediates. When the rain got harder, he just didn’t have the grip. You can certainly say that Hamilton was lucky, But he was desparately unlucky last year – anyway, a great year’s racing.
